Alrighty, since it seems that many people are trying to download Dirlister and keep sending me emails about where to get it from, here is a temporary liink to it while the site is still being moved to the new design:

April 26th, 2007Notice Anything Different?
April 4th, 2007Those regular visitors to my site know how often things aren’t working or are in chaotic messes. So, as a surprise, in case you havent noticed already, the site has a slightly different look. However, the whole site has not been converted to this new look yet, which i assure will be sticking around for some time, perhaps even a great deal of time. Anyways, only the homepage and blog section are currently functioning, with the software section not far behind it. In the meantime, I encourage you to go ahead and register with the site. Registration will allow you to post comments on the site and have access to beta versions of my software before I put them in the public domain. Rest assured, I do respect your privacy and will not, under any circumstances, save for a subpoena, share your information with any other party. If this still makes you feel uneasy, just enter your email address so I’ll be able to contact you at a later time. Enjoy!
Call for Assistance
February 18th, 2007Ok, I figure that the best way to get something done is to ask those people who use it. For Dirlister 1.5, I plan on adding localization features, meaning that you can change the language that it is displayed in with the click of a button. However, I only know English and Spanish, the latter which I would not guaruntee a 100% accurate translation in. Therefore, if any users out there would like to help me in writing translation files, shoot me an email at john (at) johnluetke (dot) net, and ill send further instructions from there.
What gives?
January 31st, 2007Okay, so in the last week, since the site came back up, I’ve been getting a few emails asking about Dirlisters next big update. Yes, it has been the better part of 10 months since I released any significant update to it. Truth is, I’ve been bogged down with things at school and Dirlister got pushed to the back burner. However, on the light side of things, there is an alpha version that is in development right now (and has been for about 8 of those 10 months), but Im sure I’ve foud some time to bring it back to the land of the living. Rest assured, it is coming.
